Cambridge University Musical Society: Cambridge College Choirs

About the Cambridge College Choirs

One of the world's leading large-scale choirs, made up of Cambridge choral scholars.

"The lucky few who managed to acquire tickets for this sold-out concert were treated to an utterly mesmerising display of choral singing... the results were so spectacular that they gave me almost continual goosebumps."

Varsity, 25 January 2008

The Cambridge College Choirs, which gave its first performance at King's College Chapel in January 2008, is an exciting addition to the Cambridge musical scene. The Cambridge College Choirs brings together Cambridge's world-renowned college choirs to form one of the most exciting and vibrant large-scale choirs in the world. The Cambridge College Choirs comes together once each year to perform a major choral work with CUMS I, the university's flagship symphony orchestra.

This year's Cambridge College Choirs will include the choirs of Christ's, Clare, Gonville and Caius, Jesus and Selwyn Colleges. It will perform in King's College Chapel under the baton of David Hill, Chief Conductor of the BBC Singers.

Membership of the Cambridge College Choirs is open to Cambridge choral scholars by invitation only.
